We need something to hang from the center of our living room that throws a decent amount of light upwards and doesn't blind you if you look in it's general direction. I'm liking this, but also considering making our own version of this. Then there is this one which MAS fell hard for on instagram. All viable options, yet we have failed to pull the trigger on every last one, maybe one day ....
i'm all about those simple pendants. i really tried to get joe on board with something similar, but he wouldn't budge. marriage really sucks sometimes.
ReplyDeleteSeems to be sucking for MAS when it comes to these fixtures ... I always tell him he's picking the wrong ones and he mostly just goes along with it.
DeleteOoh I'm really a fan of #s 1 and 2. #3 is great, but wouldn't you need quite a few of them? It's a tough call...
ReplyDeleteThat was my concern as well. MAS likes dim lights though. I guess I do too, but sometimes it's nice to be able to see the floor at night (don't tell him I said that).
DeleteHoly shit. I love the one pictured. LOVE.
ReplyDeleteCute bubble chandelier!
ReplyDeletei built us one of the jean pelle bubble chandeliers a few years ago, and it's a marvelous thing - a little wonky, since i'd never really wired anything before, but a great visual accent. try one, try one!
ReplyDeleteThe tall bubble chandelier is beautiful, but the price hurts my heart! I think I can come up with a diy for the chandelier, your post gave me such idea.
ReplyDeleteThe lights look amazing, I'd definitely try and make one myself. Thanks for sharing.
